Frequently Asked Questions
How long does setup actually take?
About ten minutes to take your first booking: create your business, add one offering, and connect Stripe. Importing an existing client list and building out a full timetable takes longer, and you can do it after you are live.
Does Claz take a cut of my payments?
No. Payments run through your own Stripe account via Stripe Connect, so you pay Stripe’s processing fee and nothing on top of it to us. Claz charges a flat monthly subscription instead.
Can I keep my own website?
Yes — that is the intended setup. Embed the booking widget on the site you already have and clients book without leaving it. There is also a hosted booking page if you would rather not touch your site.
What if I take cash?
Record it. Cash and card sit in the same ledger, and the income report lets you choose what is included in the reported total. The underlying record is never deleted.
Can I get my data out?
Any time. Clients and the full transaction ledger export to CSV. No export fee, no support ticket required.
I run classes and appointments. Do I need two subscriptions?
No. One account covers appointments, classes and activities together, and a client’s history spans all of them.
